🎉 Prairie Creek Recreation Area is officially live on Mountain Project! 🎉

We're incredibly excited to finally share Iowa's newest sport climbing destination with the climbing community.

We hope this area becomes a place where memories are made and the climbing community continues to grow.

This project would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, route developers, donors, and our incredible partners at the Jackson County Conservation Board. Thank you to everyone who invested their time, energy, and passion into making this vision a reality.

If you're planning a visit:

🪖 Wear a helmet as there is still some loose crumbly rock.
